LOS ANGELES (February 12, 2008) - For the second consecutive year, Oakwood Worldwide earned distinguished recognition from Training magazine as a Top 125 company for its employee-sponsored workforce training and development programs.

Training's Top 125 is the most elite list for training and development among Fortune 500 companies. The magazine presented the Top 125 award to Oakwood on February 4 at its annual awards banquet in Atlanta.

 

Editors at Training applauded Oakwood University's "The IAC Mission," the company's two-part extensive training program for Internet account coordinators, which includes classroom, e-learning and a mentor guide that provides IACs the opportunity to showcase what they've learned, as well as to learn additional skills from their peers.

Based on this research, the editors then develop their list and rankings.
