LOS ANGELES - September 24, 2013 - Oakwood Worldwide, the global leader in corporate housing and serviced apartments, announces the addition of Tabatha Ramsay as vice president of sales, marketing and revenue management. In this capacity, Ramsay will oversee the strategic direction for one of the leading serviced apartment brands in the Asia Pacific region.
Supporting a portfolio of 26 Oakwood-branded buildings across the region, she will be responsible for setting strategic priorities and driving the sales, marketing and revenue management functions with a focus on increasing brand strength, yielding profitable sales and increasing market share. Ramsay will report to Craig Ryan, managing director for Oakwood Worldwide's Asia Pacific region.

The realignment follows organizational changes the company made earlier this year designed to provide customers with improved in-region expertise, flexible options and end-to-end solutions. Oakwood Worldwide is able to deliver accommodation solutions for all types of business travel, from short-term transient to extended stay, either in Oakwood branded properties or through the company's global supplier network.

Ramsay brings with her more than 16 years of hospitality experience within the Asia Pacific region. Prior to joining Oakwood Worldwide, Ramsay served in various global sales and marketing leadership positions with InterContinental Hotels and Resorts, Starwood Hotels and Resorts and Minor Hotel Group. During this time, she developed multiple strategic re-positioning and re-branding plans and launched a number of key portfolio properties. In addition, she managed owner relationships, resulting in strengthening and growing the brands. Most recently, she served as international director of the South Australian Tourism Commission.
Ramsay holds a bachelor's degree in business from the University of South Australia located in Adelaide, South Australia.
She will operate out of the Oakwood Worldwide office in Singapore.
