Steven Selcer was named Oakwood Worldwide's President in October 2007. In this role, Selcer directs Oakwood's day-to-day operations and helps execute and implement the vision and strategic direction of Founder, Chairman and CEO Howard Ruby. As President, Selcer leads Oakwood's Executive Committee.

 

Selcer joined Oakwood Worldwide in 2000 as the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, where he was responsible for the finance, treasury, tax, risk management, and purchasing operations of the company. In 2007, prior to his promotion to President, Selcer was named CFO of the Year by the Los Angeles Business Journal.
 
Selcer has nearly 27 years of finance and operations experience with a number of public and private real estate and retail/restaurant companies. He was also chief operating officer for La Salsa Holding Co. He began his career at Deloitte & Touche, Los Angeles.
 
Selcer received a Bachelor of Science degree, and a Master's degree from the University of Southern California.
