Check In Procedure
We welcome you and hope that your stay at Hillsborough will be comfortable. Please keep in mind that you are a guest of Oakwood Corporate Housng, and not of the community in which you are staying. Each property has a community of its own in which you are welcome to take part. Each community has rules and policies to make living there a pleasant experience for you. If you have any questions about the community where you are staying, we would be happy to provide you with all of the information that you need.


Check In Time

Your apartment will be available for check in anytime after 3:30 pm. on your scheduled day of move in. If you require an early check in please contact us at least four (4) business days in advance of your move in for availability.


Key Pickup
The community is fully gated and the gates will close after 5:30pm.There will be a blue lock box placed on a railing near the front door of your apartment which will have a key inside of it to your front door. The gate clicker to access the gates 24 hours a day in the future will be inside your apartment on the coffee table. If these arrangements are not convenient for you please call us at least 4 business days in advance and we would be pleased to FedEx keys and a gate remote to your present address. The instructions and code for the lockbox will be provided upon completion of your reservation paperwork.


Arriving at your Apartment
Upon arriving to your apartment you will find a welcome letter providing you with valuable information about the area and community as well as parking assignments, your phone number, and mailbox number. Inside the apartment you will also find a mailbox key and any additional amenity keys and remotes needed for your home away from home. Should you have any difficulty, emergency customer service may be called 24 hours a day at 800.736.8624.


Parking and Access Gates
Parking spaces/ garages are assigned to each apartment. A permit is required in this community.  The unnumbered and uncovered spaces may be used for additional parking and visitors. Inoperable vehicles, commercial vehicles, recreational vehicles, boats, or storage units are not permitted in the parking stalls. Any vehicles not in accordance with parking regulations will be towed at the owners expense.


Check Out Procedures
  • Please leave all keys and access devices (click cards & garage remotes) in the envelope provided and leave on your kitchen counter. If you are unable to lock the apartment without a key please call the Oakwood office for alternative arrangements.

  • If you need to extend your stay, please contact the local office at 800-736-8624
  • When vacating your apartment, all rentals of one month or longer require a thirty (30) day written notice to "Oakwood Corporate Housing" from resident or corporation.
