Rental Guidelines
Pet Costs
Pets Allowed
  • Corporate Housing:  Oakwood will collect a non-refundable, one-time fee of $300.00 if a guest brings a pet(s). This fee will not cover damages; all pet related damages will be assessed and charged upon guest departure. Additional rent may be applicable.
  • Residential Housing:  Oakwood will collect a refundable deposit of $300.00 plus an additional $60.00 in monthly rent if a guest brings a pet(s). All pet related damages will be assessed and deducted from the $300.00 deposit with the balance being refunded. Any damages exceeding $300.00 will be an additional charge to be paid upon guest departure.
  • Short Term Stays:  Oakwood will collect a $10.00 fee per day if a guest staying less than 30 days brings a pet(s). Any pet related damages will be assessed and charged to the guest’s credit card upon departure if necessary.


Check In Procedure
24 hours a day Oakwood Chicago has a staff member ready and willing to help serve you housing needs, whatever they might be.  In addition our community has rules and policies to make living here a pleasant experience for you. Check In Time
  • Check in time is 3:30
  • Early Check in's may be possible depending on volume of business
  • For an early check in request please call 312.642.7477


Key Pickup
  • Keys will be issued at the time of move in
  • Keys will include Common Area Access Keys, Apartment Keys, and Mailbox Keys
  • Additional sets of keys may be requested at the time of move in.
  • Any keys not returned at move out will result in a lock change fee

 



Arriving at your Apartment
  • Leasing Office is open from 9am to 6pm daily
  • 24 hour check-ins are available through our 24 hour doorperson

 



Parking and Access Gates
  • There is a parking garage attached to this building
  • Entrance is on Clark street
  • Pull a ticket upon check in, however if you are paying for monthly parking you will be given an access card.

 



Check Out Procedures
  • All guests must give 30 days notice in writing as to when they will be departing.
  • If you need to extend your stay you should call office or the person that originally booked your stay. 
  • All keys should be returned to the leasing office or the doorperson.
  • Express checkout envelopes are available from the office and can be placed in the office drop slot to the left of the leasing office front door.
  • Phone bills and incidental charges should be paid in full prior to your departure.
