Surrounded by trees and overlooking Cheat Lake, this golf and spa resort is located in Morgantown, West Virginia and offers two championship courses. The Mountainview Course winds through the Allegheny Forest and features tight landing areas, scenic views, and gently rolling fairways. The Lakeview Course boasts narrow tree-lined fairways. The initial 9-holes were built by golf architect James Harrison in 1950. In 1954, 9 additional holes were added to transform the layout into a championship-caliber course. The Lakeview course is now the home of the 2003 Tri-State PGA Masters. The resort also features Spa Roma, where body treatments, hair/nail services, facials, and massages are offered. Other amenities include complimentary Internet access, laundry facilities, a fitness center, sauna, swimming pool, spa tub, tanning bed, and a climbing wall. Meeting space totals 23,000 square feet, plus there is a 12,500-square foot convention center.
