The pet deposit is $250.00 per pet.
$50 per month pet rent for each pet.
Two pet maximum per unit (one canine and one feline).
Maximum weight limit 75 lbs.
All canines/felines must be spayed or neutered.
All inoculations must be current, proof must be supplied.
All canines must be licensed and must wear collar and current ID tags.
Owners must provide litter box for felines.
Canine breed restrictions apply.
Pet Addendum must be signed at move in, and picture of pet taken or provided for file.

Your furnished apartment will be ready for move-in after 3:30pm on the day of your arrival. We recommend you arrive prior to 6:00pm so that our staff can assist with your move-in and answer any questions.
Late arrivals, until 2AM, are asked to pick up the "Late Arrival Courtesy Phone" outside the rental office doors. The phone will connect you to our Courtesy Officer to assist you with check-in.

Keys will be issued to you at move in.

Items required at move-in are:

Credit card imprint (for incidentals)
First 30 day's rent and any applicable charges, unless corporate invoicing is preapproved.
Photo ID (for lock-out purposes)

Due to frequent changes of plans of our current residents, addresses are not given out prior to move-in. Please be aware the residents do have the right to extend their stay, therefore, apartments are not assigned until the expected move-in day.

For reciept of mail prior to moving in, please have mail sent to:
General Delivery, Gaithersburg, MD 20877, 301.208.3700.
General Delivery will only hold mail up to 30 days.
Upon arrival, fill out a "Change of Address" form and General Delivery will forward mail to your address at Oakwood. Please allow one week for the change of address to take affect.

A thirty day written notice to vacate is required from resident or corporation.

Your keys will be issued to you upon check-in to the community. We offer customer service from 9am to 2am for personal attention at checkin and issuance of keys, including an escort to your apartment if desired. During office hours, 9am to 6pm, a Guest Service Representative will assist you. After hours, a Courtesy officer will assist you.

Note that Oakwood Gaithersburg features on site Customer Service. After office hours until 2AM a courtesy officer will be able to assist you with directions or an escort to locate your apartment for your convenience.

Oakwood Gaithersburg has open parking. If you are interested in covered parking, please speak to an Oakwood representative during normal business hours, 9am to 6pm, Monday - Sunday.

You are required to give Oakwood a thirty (30) day notice to vacate.
On the day of your move out, please leave all access cards and parking permits in an envelope for Oakwood at the leasing office.
There is a $50.00 fee for every non-returned pass.
If you choose to extend your stay, please call Oakwood at 877.969.8953 between the hours of 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
