Rental Guidelines
Pet Costs
Pets Allowed
  • Corporate Housing:  Oakwood will collect a non-refundable, one-time fee of $300.00 if a guest brings a pet(s). This fee will not cover damages; all pet related damages will be assessed and charged upon guest departure. Additional rent may be applicable.
  • Residential Housing:  Oakwood will collect a refundable deposit of $300.00 plus an additional $60.00 in monthly rent if a guest brings a pet(s). All pet related damages will be assessed and deducted from the $300.00 deposit with the balance being refunded. Any damages exceeding $300.00 will be an additional charge to be paid upon guest departure.
  • Short Term Stays:  Oakwood will collect a $10.00 fee per day if a guest staying less than 30 days brings a pet(s). Any pet related damages will be assessed and charged to the guest’s credit card upon departure if necessary.


Check In Procedure
Welcome! We hope that your stay at Oakwood Crystal City will be comfortable. All information needed to make your stay a pleasant experience is available at the front desk.  If you have any questions about the community prior to your arrival, please call 703.920.9550.  A Guest Service Representative is available 24 hours a day to answer your questions, assist you at move in and help with any additional needs during your stay.


Check In Time
Your apartment will be available for check-in anytime after 3:30 p.m. on your scheduled day of move-in. If you require an early check in please contact us at least one business day in advance of your move-in for availability.


Key Pickup

Please enter through the main entrance.  There is an Oakwood Crystal City Representative available 24 hours a day to assist you.


Arriving at your Apartment
Every effort has been made to make your "temporary home" as complete as possible. If everything is not perfect upon your arrival, please contact us at 703.920.9550 and we will take care of it as quickly as possible.


Parking and Access Gates
This community has access gates and will require you to swipe a card upon entry. This card will be given to you on move-in. Once inside the garage, drive down past the Marriott parking, into the designated Oakwood parking area.  There you will find access to our elevators leading you directly to the Oakwood Crystal City lobby.  Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Oakwood area. 


Check Out Procedures
  • A 30-day written notice is required before vacating your apartment.
  • Check out time is 10:00 am.
  • Prior to your departure please set the heat at 60°F and/or the AC at 78°F. 
  • Remember to remove all garbage and food items when departing.
  • Please place all passcards and keys in an express check-out envelope and turn in to the front desk upon departure. 
  • There is a $30 charge for each gate card or key that is not returned upon move-out.
