Access to downtown Tokyo from Narita International Airport: Located approximately 60km from central Tokyo, Narita Airport, the serviced apartments are well served by railway and expressway links. Two railway companies, JR (Japan Railways) and Keisei Railways provide convenient transportation to and from the airport with lines that extend to the underground level of the terminal buildings. JR operates special limited express services on the Narita Express to and from Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Yokohama and Ofuna stations via Tokyo to Narita Airport. It takes about 60 minutes to get to Narita Airport Station from Tokyo Station. Keisei Railways operates Skyliner limited express trains from Keisei-Ueno Station and Nippori stations, which take 60 and 55 minutes respectively. Airport Limited Express (operated jointly by Keisei, Toei and Keikyu Railways) directly links Haneda and Narita Airport in about 105 minutes without change of train. By bus: Bus services such as the Limousine Bus service and Airport Shuttle buses are available to and from major stations and hotels in Tokyo. Non-stop buses are also in service from major cities in the suburbs of Tokyo. For departing passengers on many airlines, boarding procedures can be carried out at Tokyo and Yokohama City Air Terminals (TCAT and YCAT) By taxi: Fare (estimated): Narita Airport to Tokyo about 22,000 to 25,000 yen not including 2,350 yen expressway toll. Minivan taxis are convenient for passengers with much baggage. By train: Narita Express train to Tokyo Station. 20-minute taxi ride or take the Marunouchi Line subway to Akasaka-Mitsuke and transfer to the Ginza Line to get off at Tameike-Sanno Station (1-minute walk to our residence from Exit 11)
