In the summer months, sea kayaking is available through local vendors located on the River walk promenade. The popular Pilsner Room Brew Pub is a short two minute walk. Friday and Saturday nights the Pilsner Room is hopping with professionals from the close downtown office parks. It is also a cigar friendly establishment.

In the summer the dragon boat races are at your doorstep during the annual Rose Festival. In the winter you can watch with amazement as thirty or more brightly decorated river boats sail past your location in the annual Parade of Boats during Christmas.
