Check In

Your keys will be available for pick up at the onsite leasing office. Please note the leasing office hours below. If you are arriving outside of leasing office hours Oakwood can arrange for a lock box to be left outside of the leasing office door (on a pipe to the left of the door). You have access to your apartment anytime after 3:30 PM on your scheduled move in date. If you require an early check in please contact us at least one business day in advance of your move-in for availability. Monday Closed. Tuesday 9:30 am – 6:30 pm. Wednesday 9:30 am – 6:30 pm. Thursday 9:30 am – 6:30 pm. Friday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. Saturday 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. Sunday Closed.

Check Out

A 30 day notice is required before vacating your apartment. Prior to your departure please set the heat at 65F and the AC at 75F. Remember to remove all garbage and food items when departing. Please leave all keys and pass cards in your apartment when vacating, regardless if the door locks behind you. All non returned keys will result in a $300 key charge. If you need to extend your stay please call our office at 800-724-9660, and we will do everything we can to accommodate your need. Check out time is prior to 12:00 pm noon on the date of your scheduled departure.

Parking Instructions

All outdoor parking is free, and is first come, first served. Residents are required to register their vehicles with the Leasing Office in order to obtain a parking permit within the community. For an additional cost: Carport spaces: $125.00 per vehicle per month. Garage spaces: $190.00 per vehicle per month. Garage spaces will come with a remote which will be given to the guest when they come in to complete the vehicle registration form.

MTBA Waverly Commuter Rail Station is only 1.8 miles from the community.

Pet Policy

Allows cats and dogs and accepts a maximum of two pets per home. (Only 1 dog permitted, or 1 dog and 1 cat, or 2 cats, but not 2 dogs.) Vet records required. Photos of each pet required. Dogs must be registered with the city of Lexington. Pets must be on a leash at all times when outside the apartment home. If applicable, dogs must be leashed whenever entering and exiting the Pet Park, but may be unleashed while within the enclosure of the Pet Park. AvalonBay Communities reserves the right to deny residency to any animal deemed aggressive whose breed is not explicitly listed. Should your pet injure any other pets, residents or Avalon Bay Communities associates, you will be asked to remove the pet from the premises immediately.
