Oakwood Apartments Ho Chi Minh City to debut in the fourth quarter of 2016
SINGAPORE – Oakwood Asia Pacific Ltd., which manages the finest serviced apartments for business and leisure travelers, today announced its entry into Vietnam with the opening of Oakwood Apartments Ho Chi Minh City slated for the last quarter of the year.
“This is an exciting year for Oakwood Asia Pacific as we celebrate key milestones such as the opening of our 10th property in Tokyo this August; as well as our expansion into new regions such as Australia, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam,” said Dean Schreiber, managing director of Oakwood Asia Pacific Ltd. “Vietnam’s economy has been growing steadily with strong foreign direct investments. Oakwood Asia Pacific’s core business is in providing serviced apartments for business travelers; and this is a timely opportunity for us to debut in Vietnam coupled with the country’s advancing integration into both regional and global economies. ”
Expected to open in the fourth quarter of 2016, Oakwood Apartments Ho Chi Minh City will offer 68 units ranging from studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments with facilities such as a gym and a residents’ lounge, as well as a restaurant. Inspiration for the property’s interior is drawn from Saigonese architecture from the 1950s to 1970s, reflecting the vibrant history of Cu Xa Do Thanh.
Oakwood Apartments Ho Chi Minh City will be situated in District 3 with shops, museums, local coffee shops and eateries dotting the area; and is within close proximity to the bustle of District 1.
As commonly expressed by the locals, “go out in District 1, eat in District 5 and live in District 3.” Primely located, Oakwood Apartments Ho Chi Minh City forms the epicenter of where residents work, live and play in; allowing them to bask in the beat of the city.
